I started this tax preparation business in 2002 and grew the company slowly from 5 clients to over 500 clients. I have been CTEC certified from the beginning while continuing my education to diversify MRA Tax Prep services. As the company grew, I enlisted Loretta to oversee customer service, and the operation of MRA Tax Prep. We operate out of our home in South Los Angeles, which keeps our overhead low. 

 I enjoy meeting new clients face to face to get a sense of your needs, and you get to know me and ask questions. Although we are in the post-COVID-19 era, we continue to provide phone or ZOOM (upon request) appointments if you prefer. For your initial appointment, we need the following: all W2s, 1099s, 1095 (health insurance), Driver’s License or State Identification, any other tax docs, and a completed and signed Information Sheet.   

 If you choose a phone or ZOOM appointment, we would appreciate you sharing your documents via Dropbox (upon request we can email you a ‘request to share’) or email us your docs as attachments.  Once we have your documents, we can arrange an appointment to review them.  

 I have a full-time job, so I do taxes during weekday evenings (7 -9pm, except Wednesdays) and weekends (mornings, afternoons & evenings).  After I have  prepared your returns, you will receive a call from one of us to give you the results.  We will not e-file your taxes without your verbal/text/email permission.   After your taxes have been e-filed and approved you will receive complete copies of your tax returns by email (what was submitted - e-filed).
